Hold On, Keep Pushing

The first Great Ape to stand on two legs and walked upright was living in the future at that very moment.

That Great Ape placed itself in a more vulnerable position, sticking out of the terrain instead of laying low on the bushes. It lost a pair of limbs to run on the ground. Everyone around labeled the Great Ape crazy, as they saw its move only made it more difficult for itself to survive. "Why not just do as everyone else does? It would be safer. It would be easier." The Great Ape thought, "Maybe. Maybe not."

For when it stood up, it saw everything, unseen to all, revealed only to itself. It saw the lost pair of limbs gained as hands that could create all possibilities from what is thought to be just impossible. It saw laying low on the bushes replaced by soaring to the sky. And, most of all, it saw clearly that not making this move now doomed its progeny to be less that who they are for eternity.

Here's to the crazy ones. Do it for the future that you see so cleary in the now. Hold on, keep pushing.
